On 12th March 2025, Mark 6 Feeding Inc. extended its ongoing efforts in the fight against child malnutrition with the donation of 10 boxes of Plumpy'Nut to the Ga East Municipal Hospital in Accra, Ghana.
This donation aims to support the hospital’s child nutrition and recovery programs, particularly for children suffering from severe acute malnutrition. Plumpy'Nut, a ready-to-use therapeutic food (RUTF), is a high-energy paste enriched with essential nutrients, clinically proven to reverse malnutrition effectively and efficiently.
At Mark 6 Feeding Inc., we believe that strengthening the capacity of health institutions through targeted donations is key to saving lives. Our donation to Ga East Municipal Hospital aligns with our commitment to practical, faith-led action and ensuring that no child is left without access to essential nutrition.
We are deeply grateful to the staff and leadership of Ga East Municipal Hospital for their warm reception and unwavering dedication to pediatric health care in Ghana. This partnership represents another step forward in addressing the urgent need for nutritional interventions in our communities.
We were deeply honored to receive a formal letter of appreciation from the Head of Clinical Services, Dr. Roxana Segborwotso, on behalf of the Medical Superintendent. In their words:
This donation follows several others made to municipal health facilities across Accra and is part of our broader mission to glorify Jesus through acts of compassion, love, and service. As we continue to expand our outreach, we remain committed to working hand-in-hand with local health institutions, caregivers, and partners in bringing health and hope to children in need.
We encourage others to join us in this mission. Together, we can feed the hungry, strengthen communities, and transform lives.
