In alignment with our mission to support the fight against malnutrition and promote child health, Mark 6 Feeding Inc. made a significant donation of Ready-to-Use Therapeutic Food (RUTF), Plumpy'Nut, to the La Dadekotopon Municipal Assembly and the La Dadekotopon Municipal Health Clinic in Accra, Ghana.
Malnutrition remains one of the most critical public health challenges in many parts of the world, particularly affecting children under the age of five. Plumpy'Nut is a globally recognized, high-calorie, nutrient-dense food designed specifically to treat severe acute malnutrition without the need for hospitalization. Through this donation, our goal is to contribute directly to saving lives and helping vulnerable children regain strength and vitality.
The donation, which included several boxes of Plumpy'Nut, was received warmly by representatives of the Municipal Health Directorate and the Assembly. Staff from both the health clinic and Mark 6 Feeding Inc. gathered at the health facility to formally present the items and reaffirm our shared commitment to addressing child malnutrition in the La Dadekotopon community.
This gesture is a continuation of our core value: ensuring that every child has access to essential nutrition, regardless of their socio-economic background. As an NGO dedicated to feeding the vulnerable, we recognize that public-private collaborations are vital to achieving lasting impact.
We were deeply honored to receive a formal letter of appreciation from the La Dadekotopon Municipal Health Directorate. In their words:
This donation is one of many steps we are taking to fulfill our vision of “Jesus Glorified and the Hungry Fed.” We remain committed to supporting health-focused initiatives and ensuring that underserved communities receive the resources they need to thrive.
We extend our deepest appreciation to the La Dadekotopon Municipal Health Directorate for their partnership and dedication to public health.
